How to keep warm

The windiest day I was on 65L 3.7m sail. So cold on the beach because the wind was howling and it was raining. Mr Dubai found his mobile shelter a kite bag.

What's you Poison

That's what people see when you you up in the air.

Z Ride

115L is my board of choice for 6-7.5m blasting. Super comfortable and awesome freeriding board.

X Fire

Front foot pads = more comfortable and less straining of lifting the toes up. BEcause it is already at an angle. Speed = Board that goes fast + Comfort

45 Knots Thierry

Size does matter. Thierry Bielak (Fr) 45.34 knots over 500m April 1993

Kevin Pritchard's Fin

X Fire comes with the same MFC fin that Kevin Pritchard and Micah Buzianis is using for their slalom racing.

X Fire - If Speed is your friend

If they have speed limits on water you will get a ticket with this board. Going fast is not difficult it is creating a comfortable board under your feet. This board is lightening fast and comfortable. In the RRD group a 45 Knot Frenchman speed record holder was always choosing this board and clocked 35 knots in the lagoon in Mauritius.

Twin Tip Unbelieveablely Short Fin

The fin is short but goes upwind like a dream. This is a magical fin that is great for freestyle but goes upwind as well as much longer fins.

Twin Tip

I am going to be repeating Award winning alot because RRD's boards are that good. Their Freestyle board sets the industry standard. If you are a freestyler you would know the difference as soon as you pop it in the air and go for your move. There are only a handful of freestyle sailors in HK who could throw this board around doing freestyle tricks. So be warned if you are blasting back and forth (the majority of sailors) you would get more enjoyment on the water with the other RRD line of boards.

Award Winning Freestyle Wave Line

Everyyear RRD FreeStyle Wave is always a favourite pick in board tests. I ride one and love it's "Ferrari on the water" like handling and ready to jump off any ramp. My 95L is my Favourite under 6m board for HK Bump and Jump conditions. Be it N wind at Little Palm Beach, NE in Stanley (specially in the Channel), SW in Lung Kwu to Ling Ting Island.

Testing next year's boards
